Competition Breakdown |

- Countries
participating in the
FEI World Dressage
Challenge are
divided geographical
zones composed of
maximum six
countries.
- Countries are
offered five
performance levels,
i.e. Prix
St-Georges,
Advanced, Medium,
Elementary and
Preliminary
(Children). Five
separate ranking
lists are
established.
- The Competition
is held between
individuals and
teams within each
Group.

Individual Competition |

Each Zone is judged
separately. The winner
of each level in
each Zone is the
competitor having the
highest total points.

Team Competition |
|
| |
Within each
Zone, the winning
team is the one
having the highest
total points based
on the best three
results. |

“In all Fairness” |
|
| |
Competitive equality is created by
having all athletes within a Zone execute
the same tests - adjudicated by the same
Ground Jury. The Ground Jury consists of two
FEI experienced judges. |

Development of the Sport |
|
| |
In addition to the competition itself,
the Ground Jury also offers competitors
practical and theoretical instruction at a
Clinic following the event. The Challenge
is usually held between March and April and
mid-September and mid-November. |
